Kuantan Singingi official seeks school revitalization funds

Acting Regent of Kuantan Singingi, Muklisin, is seeking additional support from the central government to complete the revitalization of SDN 002 Teluk Kuantan. Following a fire that destroyed four classrooms, only one has been rebuilt to date.

During a site inspection with the Head of the Riau Provincial Education Quality Assurance Agency (BPMP), Dr. Nilam Suri, Muklisin emphasized the need for the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education to prioritize the remaining classrooms to ensure a safe learning environment.

In addition to the specific needs of SDN 002, the Kuantan Singingi Regency government has proposed approximately 400 schools to the central government for infrastructure improvement and revitalization programs to enhance educational quality across the region.
