Kuehne+Nagel invests in new Cambodian logistics facility

Kuehne+Nagel has announced an investment in a new 20,000 square meter Container Freight Station (CFS) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Scheduled for completion in June 2027, the facility is expected to more than triple the company’s existing CFS capacity in the country.

The facility is strategically positioned near major transport gateways, including Phnom Penh International Airport, the Phnom Penh Autonomous Port, and the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port. Its location is intended to enhance cross-border connectivity between Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam, supporting regional logistics and the consumer goods industry.

Designed for cargo consolidation, the warehouse will feature a raised floor with a loading capacity of five tonnes per square metre. The site is expected to meet ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards and will include sustainability features.
