Kukri nears transfer to Paysandu from Águia de Marabá

Paysandu is nearing a deal to sign midfielder Kukri on loan from Águia de Marabá until December 2027. The player, who was previously on loan at Coritiba but failed to adapt to the Paraná-based club, has traveled to Belém to undergo medical examinations.

The negotiation involves several financial and contractual details. Paysandu is expected to pay R$ 100,000 to Águia de Marabá for the operation. Coritiba has reportedly waived a R$ 2 million release fine but will retain a 20% stake in the player's future federative rights.

However, negotiations have faced hurdles regarding specific contract clauses. Sebastião Ferreirinha, president of Águia de Marabá, noted that the club is contesting certain clauses sent by Coritiba that could potentially result in financial losses for Águia. One proposed condition is that Kukri cannot play against Águia de Marabá during his loan period.
