Kukri's whereabouts uncertain after failure to report to Coritiba

The whereabouts of 19-year-old indigenous football player Kukri remain uncertain after he failed to report to Coritiba following a scheduled break. The midfielder, who is currently on loan from Águia de Marabá until January 2027, has not responded to official notifications sent by Coritiba to both the player and his parent club.

In an attempt to resolve the situation, Águia de Marabá officials traveled to the Krijõhêrékatêjê village in the Mãe Maria Indigenous Territory in Pará to establish contact. While they were unable to speak directly with Kukri, they met with his father to investigate the matter. The club has reportedly offered logistical support, including travel expenses and the option for an accompanying person to stay with him in Curitiba, but no response has been received.

The loan agreement includes a provision for Coritiba to pay approximately R$ 1 million at the end of the term to acquire 70% of the athlete's economic rights.
