Kumamoto earthquake relief: Donations and business subsidies announced

Following the Reiwa 8 Kumamoto Earthquake, various organizations have launched relief initiatives to support recovery in Kumamoto Prefecture.

MOTTERU Co., Ltd. has issued donations to 12 child welfare facilities within Kumamoto. The company stated the funds are intended to support the living environments, learning, and growth of children affected by the disaster and the resulting changes in their daily lives.

Additionally, the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation has opened applications for a subsidy program aimed at local governments. This program supports the development of temporary facilities, such as collective shops and offices, to help small and medium-sized enterprises in Kumamoto resume business activities quickly.
