Kumamoto earthquake relief efforts launched by businesses and associations

Following the major earthquake in Kumamoto, various organizations have launched relief efforts to support affected areas and businesses.

FLEX has provided support to WOTA Inc., a company specializing in decentralized water circulation technology. This assistance includes a 5,000,000 yen donation, the free loan of 10 Hiace vehicles to transport water-recycling handwashing stations and showers, and the dispatch of five employees to assist with equipment management and user guidance in medical and welfare facilities facing water shortages.

Additionally, the Association of Small Business Entrepreneurs is coordinating relief for its members. As of August 18, 143 member companies in Kumamoto have been confirmed to have suffered damage to buildings or equipment. The organization is calling for donations through its national headquarters to support the recovery and reconstruction of these businesses.
