Kutno County officials teach high‑school class while nearby community marks a centennial birthday

On 17 June 2026, the starosta of Kutno County, Daniel Kowalik, and the council chair, Marek Drabik, conducted a civics lesson for students at II Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Kutno. The session explained the history, structure and duties of the county government, giving pupils a practical view of local administration.

A few days earlier, 100‑year‑old Eugenia Wierzbicka of the Gmina Krośniewice celebrated her centennial birthday. Local officials, including mayor Katarzyna Erdman, clergy and a KRUS representative, attended the ceremony, offering wishes and gifts to honour her long life and ties to the community.
