Kutno Viaduct Construction Near Completion

Construction under the Józefów street viaduct in Kutno is reaching its final stages. Builders have installed a rain‑water drainage system with a dedicated pump station that channels water directly into the Ochnia River, protecting the surrounding area from flooding. The road beneath the viaduct has been widened and deepened to allow MZK Kutno buses to pass, enabling additional routes serving local factories.

Remaining work includes installing lighting on the viaduct and shaping exit ramps to private properties and industrial sites, as well as completing a separated pedestrian‑bike path that will connect to the trail toward Tęczowa street. The total investment is estimated at around 3 million PLN, with the project delayed after expanding the original scope and securing approvals from the railway company PKP PLK.
