In early July 2026, major roadworks in Opole and Poznań opened a new lane on a viaduct at Opole’s north‑ring road and introduced a series of temporary traffic schemes across both cities. The Opole viaduct reopened on 6 July, restoring two‑way traffic while bus routes remained unchanged. In Poznań, temporary restrictions—including street closures, reduced speed limits, and new pedestrian‑bike lanes—were imposed from 6 July through August and, for some measures, until the end of the year.

By late July, work on a separate viaduct in Kutno was approaching completion. Builders installed a rain‑water drainage system and widened the road beneath the structure to accommodate additional bus routes serving local factories. Remaining tasks focus on lighting, exit‑ramp shaping, and a separated pedestrian‑bike path that will link to nearby trails. This project, valued at roughly 3 million złoty, reflects continued investment in Poland’s transport infrastructure, complementing the earlier openings and traffic adjustments in Opole and Poznań.
