KWF Kankerbestrijding announces 2026 collection week and radio initiatives
The KWF Kankerbestrijding annual collection week is scheduled to take place from August 30 to September 5, 2026. During this period, tens of thousands of volunteers across the Netherlands will collect funds to support cancer research, patient care, support services, and prevention efforts.
In conjunction with these efforts, NPO Radio 2 will host its Wish Week for KWF starting Monday, August 31. The radio station's programming will focus on fulfilling the wishes of listeners affected by cancer. The live broadcasts for the week will be held at Vakantiepark RCN het Grote Bos in Doorn, featuring various musical performances by artists such as DI-RECT, Ilse DeLange, and Davina Michelle.
