Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia hit by Russian ballistic missile strikes

Russian forces launched a series of missile strikes targeting Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia, utilizing North Korean ballistic missiles and Zircon cruise missiles. In Kyiv, multiple explosions were reported in the central, Pecherskii, Obolonskii, and Holosiivskii districts during the early morning hours. The strikes resulted in fires at a commercial building and another structure.

In Zaporizhzhia, the attacks struck the Zaporizhstal steel plant, killing seven workers and injuring 24 people. One civilian was also reported injured in Kyiv. These strikes follow a pattern of regular Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure and urban centers.
