Kyiv fuel station hit by drone attack amid energy infrastructure truce talks

A drone attack struck a fuel station in Kyiv during the early morning hours, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. The strike caused a serious injury to one man and damaged residential areas in multiple districts.

These strikes occurred shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Ukraine and Russia had reached an agreement to refrain from attacking each other's energy infrastructure. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Kyiv is prepared to accept Washington's proposal for a mutual cessation of attacks on energy facilities, provided that allies can guarantee Moscow's genuine commitment to the deal.

In retaliatory actions, a Ukrainian missile strike damaged an Ozon e-commerce warehouse in Taganrog, Russia. Additionally, an unmanned aerial vehicle strike targeted an industrial facility in the Samara region, which houses several large refineries.
