Kyiv night attacks trigger civilian panic and renewed sense of danger

Reuters reporters confirmed multiple ballistic missile impacts in Kyiv early the next morning, with sirens sounding and fires breaking out in two non‑residential buildings. Mayor Vitali Klitschko warned citizens via Telegram to take immediate shelter, highlighting the city's chronic shortage of air‑defence systems capable of intercepting such missiles. The attacks kept Kyiv on alert throughout the night, underscoring the ongoing vulnerability of the capital to Russian strikes.
