Kylian Mbappé has debuted prototype football boots from the Swiss sportswear brand On during France’s UEFA Nations League match against Turkey. This marks a significant transition for the French forward, who recently ended a long-standing partnership with Nike to become a global ambassador and equity partner for On.

Mbappé has been actively involved in testing the brand’s LightSpray technology to develop lightweight footwear. While he previously wore unbranded Nike cleats to mask logos during recent club matches, his appearance for the French national team serves as a key milestone for On as it prepares to officially launch its commercial football boot line in 2027. The brand has also strengthened its football division by appointing Thierry Henry as director of football.
