Kyoto sports: Rakuhoku handball runners-up and junior high delegation announced

At the Inter-High School Championships, the Rakuhoku women's handball team secured a runner-up finish. Despite the loss in the final to Showa Gakuin, the team noted the strong presence and growth of their younger members on the national stage.

Separately, the Kyoto Prefecture delegation for the National Junior High School Athletics Championships has been finalized. The delegation consists of 365 athletes competing across 15 different sporting disciplines. The summer tournament is scheduled to begin on August 17, with events taking place across the Chugoku region.
