Uzbekistan expands international agricultural and industrial cooperation

Uzbekistan is advancing several international economic and agricultural initiatives. In the Kashkadarya region, Austrian company BAUER has supplied 16 center-pivot irrigation systems to cover 2,500 hectares of newly developed land. This project aims to support production in arid conditions using drought-resistant crops imported from Italy and Türkiye, alongside potato seed production involving Dutch and Egyptian expertise.

Simultaneously, a delegation from Uzbekistan’s Tashkent region is in Poland to explore joint manufacturing and export opportunities. Discussions with Polish officials have focused on agriculture, water management, and industrial manufacturing. Key areas of interest include the use of drones and artificial intelligence to digitize water management, as well as strengthening the Polish-Uzbek Trade House to expand market presence for both nations.
