Kyriakos Mitsotakis calls for renewal of ‘Agreement of Truth’ with New Democracy

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis called on citizens to renew their ‘Agreement of Truth’ with the New Democracy party during a speech in Arnaia, Chalkidiki. Expressing confidence in a victory in the 2027 elections, Mitsotakis positioned his party as a force for stability and progress in a turbulent world.

During his address, the Prime Minister emphasized his commitment to political credibility, stating he would not succumb to the temptation of distributing pre-election funds, noting it would be ‘like shooting ourselves in the foot.’ He also encouraged young people to participate heavily in the upcoming elections.

Mitsotakis commented on the recent visit of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Athens, stating that the meeting ‘confirmed the depth of the strategic relationship between the USA and Greece.’ The event was attended by several government ministers and local officials.
