The interaction occurred while both were in Paris; Mitsotakis was attending an international space summit hosted by Emmanuel Macron, while Touni was celebrating the opening of her new business, a croissanterie named Fat Rat.

Touni jokingly posted a request on her Instagram Story asking the Prime Minister not to attend the opening of her shop, noting that the establishment would be offering free freddo espressos to Greeks in the city. Mitsotakis responded in kind by reposting her story with the lighthearted comment, “I didn't have it in my schedule, but now that you mention it...”

Touni reacted to the Prime Minister's response with further humor, posting “Goodbye from me” and using garlic emojis to jokingly ward off bad luck.
