La Costa Municipality expands school infrastructure projects

The Municipality of La Costa is executing several school infrastructure projects to address increasing student enrollment across the district. Key developments include new buildings for Technical School No. 1 in Santa Teresita, which will feature eight classrooms and energy-efficient facilities, and Primary School No. 16 in Mar del Tuyú, which is moving from a provisional space to a permanent facility.

In Costa Chica, work is progressing on Primary School No. 17, which will include six classrooms and recreational spaces to alleviate enrollment pressure in nearby Las Toninas. Additionally, the Municipal School of Fine Arts in Mar de Ajó is undergoing an expansion. This project aims to increase capacity to 180 students by adding eight classrooms and two specialized spaces for dance and workshops, supporting the school's transition toward a full six-year secondary curriculum.
