Infrastructure projects expand across Argentina and Paraguay
Various infrastructure and roadwork projects are underway across several regions in Argentina and Paraguay.
In Argentina, significant paving and maintenance efforts include the repaving of Ruta Provincial 22 (Acceso Este) in Mendoza, which involves progressive traffic restructuring. In Catamarca, urbanization and paving works are progressing in Valle Viejo, covering over 6,800 meters of road. In La Gallareta, repaving has resumed on Ruta Provincial 83S, alongside drainage works to mitigate El Niño effects. Additionally, a containment wall is being constructed on Route 18 to stabilize terrain, and Route 215 is undergoing reconstruction with new traffic diversions. In Florencio Varela, paving on Carbonari street has been reactivated, and in Saladillo, pavement reconstruction is occurring on Avenida Frocham.
In Paraguay, the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) has announced interventions on the Las Residentas Corridor along Silvio Pettirossi, involving temporary lane changes and traffic diversions to facilitate works. The MOPC is also conducting pluvial drainage works at the intersection of General Elizardo Aquino and Sudamericana avenues.
