La Línea de la Concepción wraps up 2026 Velada y Fiestas with bullfights, concert and fireworks
The Velada y Fiestas de La Línea de la Concepción continues its summer programme with a novillada on Friday, 24 July, at the Plaza de Toros El Arenal. The event features novice bullfighters Juan Cortés, Andrés García, Ignacio Candelas and Juan Jesús Rodríguez, who will face Portuguese cattle from the Condessa de Sobral herd. The following day, Saturday, 25 July, a full corrida will be held with matadors Sebastián Castella, Alejandro Talavante and David de Miranda, each battling six bulls from the Juan Albarrán herd.
The festivities close on Sunday, 26 July, with a public concert by singer Antonio José in the Plaza de la Constitución, followed by the traditional fireworks display launched from Santa Bárbara beach. The concert and fireworks mark the final official acts of the 2026 Velada y Fiestas.
