La Nava celebrates traditional Peach Festival

The municipality of La Nava celebrated its annual Fiesta del Melocotón, a traditional event honoring the peach, which is central to the local identity of the Sierra de Huelva region.

The festivities included the coronation of the Peach Queen and a community gathering known as ‘La Pelá’ in the Plaza de Los Ángeles, where residents collaborate to prepare the fruit for the traditional peach punch. The event was attended by local officials, including the president of the Diputación de Huelva, David Toscano, and the mayor of La Nava, Inmaculada Morales.
