Liga Balcarceña de Fútbol addresses stadium construction and financial losses

The Liga Balcarceña de Fútbol (LBF) has issued an official statement clarifying its role in the construction of a perimeter wall at the General Balcarce Municipal Stadium. The organization disputed claims made by local council members, asserting that the project involves a municipal agreement where the city provides materials and the LBF uses funds from stadium rentals to cover labor costs. The LBF emphasized that it does not directly manage material purchases, budgeting, or contractor payments.

Separately, the LBF disclosed significant financial challenges, reporting losses exceeding 11 million pesos per matchday. While ticket sales generated approximately 10 million pesos during a recent round, total expenses reached over 20 million pesos. The organization noted that these deficits are currently being absorbed by the BonoGol fund.
