La Revuelta de la España Vaciada launches Resistencia Rural initiative

During its VIII General Assembly held in San Pedro de Gaíllos, Segovia, the movement La Revuelta de la España Vaciada launched the “Resistencia Rural” initiative. This new space aims to coordinate various platforms and organizations defending rural territories against depopulation, the loss of essential public services, and the implementation of large-scale macro-projects.

Representatives from La Rioja, Aragón (Teruel and Zaragoza), Castilla y León (Soria, Salamanca, Zamora, and Segovia), and Castilla-La Mancha (Guadalajara, Cuenca, and Talavera de la Reina) participated in the assembly. The movement seeks to act as a unified voice against projects that extract local resources without providing development to the communities involved.

The assembly focused on defining action lines for the coming months, reinforcing the movement's role as a central coordination point for diverse regional demands regarding environmental protection and basic service provision.
