La Rinconada: Four jockeys sanctioned by racing commissioners

The National Board of Commissioners of the Instituto Nacional de Hipódromos (INH) has issued sanctions against four jockeys following the 32nd meeting at the La Rinconada racetrack. The event included the Grade 1 Clásico República Bolivariana de Venezuela.

Among the penalized riders are Jhonathan Aray and Yonkleiver Díaz, both of whom were fined for standing up in their saddles before crossing the finish line. Specifically, Aray was sanctioned during the seventh race while riding Teniente Dan, and Díaz was fined during the ninth race while riding Grand Gala. Additionally, apprentice jockey Yamper González received a fine for having his feet out of the stirrups after crossing the finish line in the second race while riding Bulma.
