La Ruota della Fortuna returns to Canale 5 with new segments

The Italian game show ‘La Ruota della Fortuna’ returned to Canale 5 on October 12, 2026, for its 23rd edition. Hosted by Gerry Scotti and Samira Lui, the program features several new segments and updates, including a change in the musical accompaniment provided by the ‘Fortuna Six’ band, with Alex replacing Marco as the vocalist.

During the broadcast, returning champion Giulia, who has previously won 68,300 euros, continued her streak and surprised the host. Other contestants included Aurora from Sciacca and Dario, an IT technician from Milan. The episode also featured ‘La Locanda di Samira,’ a segment dedicated to international cuisine, which highlighted Mac and Cheese.

The show utilizes various game boards such as ‘Figli delle stelle,’ ‘JukeBox,’ ‘Chiacchiere da Bar,’ and ‘Il regno degli animali.’ The final round, ‘La Ruota Delle Meraviglie,’ offers contestants different ways to resolve challenges, including ‘3+1,’ ‘testa coda,’ and ‘ruba secondi.’
