La Son - Hoa Lien expressway expansion nears completion

The La Son - Hoa Lien expressway expansion project, which increases the route from two lanes to four, is nearing completion. The 65km project connecting Hue to Da Nang has an adjusted total investment of over 3,270 billion VND.

According to the Ho Chi Minh Highway Project Management Board, asphalt paving has reached over 99% of the required volume. Of the 50 bridges on the route, 42 are ready for traffic, and 46 have been paved. Construction is currently focused on finishing remaining safety items, such as signage and guardrails, with a target to complete the project by late August 2026.
