La Séptima CEO claims media outlets are attempting to silence new channel

José Miguel Contreras, CEO of La Séptima, has accused major media outlets of attempting to silence the upcoming television channel. Speaking at the Foro de la Nueva Comunicación, Contreras claimed that certain influential newspapers and radio stations have received direct orders to avoid reporting on the channel's existence.

Contreras noted that despite receiving no advertising investment, the channel has gained significant interest through its digital team and social media presence. He emphasized that the media's refusal to cover the launch is an attempt to maintain dominance over communication and hide the emergence of new competitors. La Séptima is scheduled for launch on November 5.
