Labora offers over 3,000 jobs in Valencian Community
Labora, the Valencian Employment and Training Service, currently lists over 3,000 active job vacancies through its employment portal. The available positions are concentrated in sectors experiencing high summer demand, specifically hospitality, tourism, commerce, and leisure.
Key vacancies include more than 100 kitchen-related roles, over 50 positions for waiters and waitresses, approximately 20 hotel reception roles, 20 positions for leisure monitors and animators, and 10 lifeguard roles. Antonio Galvañ, the regional Secretary of Employment and Director General of Labora, noted that these roles often serve as a first entry point into the labor market or a way to gain professional experience.
Recent data from the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy indicates that unemployment in the Valencian Community has decreased by 4.1%, totaling 281,651 people. Notably, youth unemployment for those under 25 has reached a historic low, dropping by 2,091 people compared to the previous month to reach 15,263.
