The Valencian Employment and Training Service, known as Labora, has reported over 3,000 active job vacancies to address seasonal summer demand. These openings are primarily concentrated in the hospitality, tourism, commerce, and leisure sectors, including roles for kitchen staff, waiters, hotel receptionists, and lifeguards.

Regional employment data indicates a 4.1% decrease in unemployment within the Valencian Community, bringing the total to 281,651 people. Youth unemployment for those under 25 has reached a historic low of 15,263 individuals.

In addition to immediate job placement, Labora’s 2026 Training Plan has engaged over 58,000 participants through more than 4,000 free courses. The program reports that over 50% of participants secure employment within one year of completion. Furthermore, a 4.1 million euro initiative has been allocated to train 2,000 people in high-demand sectors such as the green economy, construction, and various trades.
