Labora reports 3,000+ job openings in Valencian Community

Labora, the Valencian Employment and Training Service, reports over 3,000 active job offers to meet summer seasonal demand. The highest concentration of vacancies is in the hospitality, tourism, commerce, and leisure sectors. Specific openings include dozens of roles for waiters, kitchen staff, hotel receptionists, lifeguards, and tour guides.

Recent data from the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy shows unemployment in the Valencian Community decreased by 4.1% in July, reaching 281,651 people. Youth unemployment (under 25) also reached a historic low with 15,263 unemployed individuals.

In addition to job placement, Labora’s 2026 Training Plan has already seen over 58,000 participants in more than 4,000 free courses. The program aims to improve employability, with over 50% of participants securing employment within a year of completion. A specific initiative focused on the green economy, construction, and trades has been allocated 4.1 million euros to train 2,000 people in high-demand sectors.
