LAFC draws 1-1 with Portland Timbers in MLS match

LAFC played to a 1-1 draw against the Portland Timbers in a Major League Soccer (MLS) Round 22 home match at BMO Stadium. Despite recording 34 total shots and 11 on target, LAFC was unable to secure a victory, extending their winless streak in the league to four matches.

Portland took an early lead in the 4th minute through a goal by David Costa. LAFC responded in the 79th minute when Denis Bouanga scored with a right-footed curling shot to equalize. Although LAFC gained a man advantage in stoppage time after Portland's Vincent Janssen received a second yellow card, they could not find a winning goal.

Son Heung-min played the full 90 minutes as a striker but remained scoreless, marking his sixth consecutive official match without a goal. Son recorded nine shots during the match, though only one was on target.
