The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) is receiving significant resource boosts to strengthen the security architecture of Lagos, Nigeria, ahead of upcoming elections.
In one initiative, the LSSTF donated protective gear to the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) BEECROFT. The donation, announced by LSSTF Executive Secretary Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan to Commodore A. Adams-Aliu, included 50 ballistic helmets, 50 bulletproof vests, and 100 raincoats. This intervention aims to improve operational capacity and personnel welfare during sensitive electoral periods.
Additionally, CIG Motors Group has donated 10 operational vehicles to the LSSTF, valued at over N300 million. The fleet, which includes Wuling N111, Wuling XC250, and JMC Vigus pickup trucks, was handed over by CIG Motors Group CEO Chief Diana Chen.
