Heavy monsoon rains across Pakistan have killed at least 108 people and injured 344, according to the National Disaster Management Authority. The worst impacts are in the provinces of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where roof collapses, flash floods and drownings have claimed dozens of lives.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority reported that the death toll from rain‑related incidents between 19 July and 26 July rose to 32, with 35 people injured. Damage includes 55 houses partially damaged and 17 houses destroyed, and 46 livestock animals were killed.

Punjab province faces extensive flooding, with nearly 400 sq km of land underwater as drains overflow and rivers rise. Officials say the Chenab and Ravi rivers are expected to reach medium‑to‑high flood levels within 24 hours. At least 20 people were injured in recent roof‑collapse incidents, and dozens of homes were damaged or swept away.

Relief and rescue teams continue operations in more than 25 districts, delivering supplies, evacuating residents and monitoring river flows to protect vulnerable communities.
