Lake Como Design Festival expands to Lecco for 8th edition

The 8th edition of the Lake Como Design Festival is taking place from September 14 to September 20, 2026. Organized by Wonderlake Como ETS, the festival focuses on the theme ‘Confine’ (Boundary), exploring the relationships between territories, people, and ideas.

For the first time, the event is expanding its traditional perimeter beyond Como and the western Lake Como area to include Lecco. The festival utilizes various venues, including villas, parks, archives, and hotels, to create a distributed itinerary of contemporary design, architecture, and art. The program also features increased collaboration with local educational institutions such as the University of Insubria, the Conservatory of Como, the Aldo Galli Academy – IED, and the Politecnico di Milano.
