Nature enthusiasts conduct expeditions across Turkey

Various nature hiking and exploration events have been organized across different regions in Turkey to promote local natural and cultural heritage.

In the Tendürek Mountain region, members of the Vadi Doğa Sporları Kulübü conducted an expedition to the volcanic summit. Following the opening of the area to climbers, a 33-person team reached the peak, with 10 members descending into the volcanic basin to observe the unique geological structures.

In the Van Lake Basin, the Van Gölü Aktivistleri Derneği and Tatvan Running Club organized a trek for 60 participants. The group explored the İncekaya Crater, visiting historical castle ruins and cave dwellings to raise awareness for regional ecotourism and conservation.

In Mersin, approximately 100 enthusiasts completed an 8-kilometer hiking route through the Kurtçukuru Canyon. Supported by the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, the event involved navigating water-filled sections and rugged terrain to showcase the natural beauty of Tarsus.
