Konstantinos Argyros faces criticism over Kimberly Guilfoyle

Greek media personalities and public figures are reacting to the stance taken by singer Konstantinos Argyros regarding the departure of Kimberly Guilfoyle from her role at the US Embassy in Greece.

During various television appearances, presenter Natalia Germanou criticized Argyros for appearing to distance himself from Guilfoyle, noting their frequent public appearances together in the Greek nightlife scene. She remarked that even if their relationship was merely transactional, he should have acknowledged it, stating, “Kimberly... Remind me. He denied her.”

Actor Lakis Lazopoulos also expressed disapproval of the singer’s reaction, suggesting that Argyros “was afraid of what people would say on television and backed down.” Lazopoulos noted that while Argyros is not involved in any scandals, he could have offered supportive words given their friendship and her presence at his performances. Other commentators suggested the singer may have been attempting to avoid the controversy surrounding the recent wave of revelations involving Guilfoyle.
