Lamborghini prepares diverse variant lineup for new Temerario
Lamborghini is preparing an extensive lineup of variants for its new Temerario model, leveraging its new plug-in hybrid architecture. Product Line Director Paolo Racchetti stated that the architecture was designed from the outset to serve “several different missions,” offering significant potential through both the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and the electric components.
While the current Temerario produces 920 horsepower, Technical Director Rouven Mohr has suggested that future versions could exceed 1,000 horsepower. Confirmed upcoming models include the Temerario Spyder. Other potential directions include a more playful version similar to the Huracán Tecnica and extreme track-oriented variants inspired by GT3 and Super Trofeo racing technology.
Regarding a potential off-road variant similar to the Huracán Sterrato, Racchetti noted that while a Sterrato version is not currently confirmed, it is not entirely excluded. He described the previous Sterrato as a concept “that everyone loved” and indicated that the new platform's flexibility allows for various configurations, including purely thermal setups for racing use.
