Simone Iaquinta wins double at Nürburgring in Super Trofeo

Simone Iaquinta and Kevin Gilardoni achieved a double victory at the Nürburgring during the fourth round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe. Driving for DL Racing in a Lamborghini Huracán ST Evo2, the duo secured wins in both Race 1 and Race 2, marking a successful debut for Iaquinta at the German circuit.

Following these wins, Iaquinta and Gilardoni have reclaimed the lead in the championship standings, holding a three-point advantage over their closest rivals. Iaquinta also recorded the fastest lap of the weekend during the second race with a time of 2’00”536.

Other notable results included Rexal Villorba Corse drivers Benedetto Strignano and Nicholas Pujatti finishing third in the Pro class. In the AM class, Renaud Kuppens and Jakub Knoll of Micanek Motorsport secured the win, while Claude-Yves Gosselin of Rexal Villorba Corse won in the Lamborghini Cup.
