Lamborghini unveils performance‑focused plug‑in hybrid Urus variant for July 1 launch

Lamborghini posted a teaser image of a redesigned Urus SUV and wrote, “A new chapter is taking shape,” previewing an online reveal on July 1. The company says the new model, informally dubbed the Urus SE Performante, will replace the current Urus S, Performante and SE line‑up and will be offered exclusively as a plug‑in hybrid. It will retain the 4.0‑liter twin‑turbo V8 paired with an electric motor, which in the present Urus SE already delivers roughly 800 hp and 950 Nm, while the upcoming version is expected to raise power and performance further. Styling changes include a prominent rear spoiler, a larger roof‑line wing and a more aggressive front fascia with enlarged air intakes and updated lighting. The launch marks Lamborghini’s move to fully electrify its range after introducing hybrid systems on the Revuelto and Temerario models.
