Lamborghini unveils Urus SE Performante hybrid SUV with 812 hp
Lamborghini has introduced the Urus SE Performante, a plug‑in hybrid version of its Super SUV. It combines a 4.0‑litre V8 biturbo engine with an electric motor to deliver 812 horsepower (596 kW) and 1,000 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Urus to date. The powertrain propels the 2,473‑kg vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and tops out at 312 km/h, while the 26‑kWh battery provides an electric range of about 60 km under WLTP.
Weight has been reduced by roughly 32 kg thanks to extensive use of carbon‑fiber panels, a new carbon‑fiber hood, titanium‑exhaust components and other lightweight measures. Aerodynamic refinements include a larger front splitter, additional rear spoilers and a bigger diffuser, improving downforce and cooling. A new double‑chamber AURA air‑suspension cuts body roll by 55 % and vibration by 25 %.
The interior receives a sportier layout with a 12.3‑inch central display, carbon‑accented steering wheel and new micro‑fiber trims. A Rally driving mode is added alongside the existing Strada, Sport, Corsa and EV modes. Lamborghini’s CEO Stephan Winkelmann highlighted the model as the pinnacle of the brand’s performance and electrification strategy. Production is slated for March 2027 with pricing expected to exceed €300,000.
