Lamborghini unveils Urus SE Performante, 812‑hp hybrid super‑SUV
Lamborghini has launched the Urus SE Performante, the most powerful version of its plug‑in hybrid super‑SUV. The model combines a 4.0‑litre twin‑turbo V8 engine with an electric motor to deliver a combined 812 horsepower (596 kW) and 1,000 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, reaches a top speed of 312 km/h and weighs 2,473 kg, about 32 kg lighter than the standard Urus SE. Extensive carbon‑fiber components in the hood, roof, wheel arches and diffuser reduce weight, while a new Akrapovič titanium exhaust saves further mass. Aerodynamic revisions cut drag by 3 % and increase downforce by 23 %. The new AURA dual‑chamber air suspension reduces body roll by 55 % and improves comfort, and a 6‑D sensor suite monitors accelerations on three axes for real‑time chassis control. A 25.9 kWh battery provides roughly 60 km of electric‑only range. Inside, a 12.3‑inch infotainment screen, upgraded carbon‑fiber trim and a new Rally drive mode are added. Lamborghini positions the Urus SE Performante as a showcase of hybrid performance rather than a step toward a fully electric model, with pricing expected around €300,000 (≈ $300,000).
