Lancia unveils Gamma crossover to be produced in Melfi

Lancia is preparing to launch the Gamma, a new crossover fastback model that will be produced at the Stellantis plant in Melfi, Italy. The vehicle is designed to expand the brand's lineup and reposition it in higher market segments following the release of the Ypsilon.

Built on the STLA Medium platform, the Gamma will offer multiple powertrain options. A hybrid version featuring 145 CV is expected to provide a total range of over 1,000 km. Fully electric configurations will also be available, including an entry-level 230 CV model with over 540 km of range and a higher-performance 245 CV variant capable of exceeding 740 km.

The model, which measures 4.67 meters in length, was designed and developed in Italy. A formal presentation is scheduled for September 16 at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (Mimit) in the presence of Minister Adolfo Urso. Orders are anticipated to open after the summer.
