Land Rover launches Discovery Landmark edition with exclusive Tasman Blue paint

Land Rover has introduced the Discovery Landmark edition, a special‑trim version of its seven‑seat Discovery SUV slated for release in 2026 (2027 in Australia). The model adds a distinctive Tasman Blue metallic paint, Graphite Atlas exterior trim, 21‑inch Dark Agate Grey alloy wheels, and new interior features such as Tech Velour upholstery, a sliding panoramic sunroof and a refrigerated centre console. The Landmark sits between the entry‑level S and the flagship Tempemst in the lineup and carries the Landmark badging on the bumper, door pillars, tread plates and puddle lamps.

Mechanically the Discovery remains unchanged, retaining the diesel‑based mild‑hybrid powertrain – D250 and D350 engines in Europe, with only the D350 3.0‑litre inline‑six turbo‑diesel offered in Australia – delivering up to 350 hp, 700 Nm of torque, permanent four‑wheel drive, 900 mm wading depth and a 3,500 kg towing capacity. Pricing starts at £75,860 in the United Kingdom (about 7.8 million rubles) and AU $132,000 before on‑road costs in Australia. The edition also includes optional accessory packs for pets, bikes, beach gear, winter sport equipment and long‑distance travel.

The launch comes as the Discovery, first introduced in 1989 and in its current sixth generation since 2017, faces strong internal competition from the Defender, which outsells it by a large margin.
