Landman season three filming begins in Texas

Production for the third season of the Paramount+ drama ‘Landman’ is underway in Texas. The series, written by Taylor Sheridan and starring Billy Bob Thornton, is currently filming scenes at Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth. The production involves local students, with approximately 30 students shadowing the crew and 30 TCU cheerleaders participating in a storyline involving the character Ainsley Norris.

Casting calls have been issued for background actors across the Fort Worth area. The production is seeking various roles, including college students, museum docents, and security personnel. Extras are expected to earn between $150 and $200 for 12-hour shifts.

Season three follows a new business structure established at the end of the previous season. Cast members Colm Feore and Mustafa Speaks have been promoted to series regulars. Filming is expected to continue through the first quarter of next year.
