Lando Norris launches LN4 Fusion junior racing team

Formula 1 champion Lando Norris has announced the launch of LN4 Fusion, a new racing team and driver development project. Partnering with British karting team Fusion Motorsport, the initiative aims to support young talent through the sport’s feeder series. The team plans to compete in Italian Formula 4, the Formula Regional European Championship (FRECA), and FIA Formula 3 starting in 2027, with future ambitions to enter Formula 2.

Alongside the racing team, Norris is establishing the LN4 Legacy Programme. This fully funded initiative is designed to remove financial barriers for talented drivers, providing them with coaching, mentoring, and career guidance. The project is supported by an investment group led by Dan Richards and features veteran motorsport figures, including René Rosin as team principal and Guillaume Capietto as racing director.

On the track, Norris continues to demonstrate strong form with McLaren, following recent victories in Hungary and the Netherlands. While he remains focused on his championship campaign and addressing technical challenges with his car, his new venture marks a significant expansion into team ownership and talent development.
