Lando Norris launches LN4 Fusion junior racing team
Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris has co-founded a new junior racing team, LN4 Fusion, alongside an investment firm led by Dan Richards. The team is scheduled to begin competing in the motorsport ladder in 2027, with plans to enter Italian F4, the Formula Regional European Championship (FRECA), and Formula 3 next year. An application for Formula 2 entry is also pending.
René Rosin, former head of the Prema outfit, has been appointed Team Principal, while Julian Rouse will manage the driver development scheme. The LN4 Legacy Programme aims to provide fully funded support to exceptional young talent to remove financial barriers to entry. Norris is reportedly personally investing in the project to provide mentorship and career support for upcoming drivers.
In a separate development, MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi expressed his pride in Norris following his Formula 1 world championship title. Speaking at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Rossi praised Norris’s composure and maturity during his championship-winning season, noting the connection between F1 and MotoGP athletes.
