Lang Son Province Launches AI‑Powered Digital Public Service Stations

On 27 July 2026, the People's Committee of Lang Son province and state bank Agribank inaugurated a pilot of "digital public service stations" at ten communes and wards across the province. The stations employ artificial intelligence, smart‑recognition and electronic authentication to digitise documents, create electronic dossiers and enable online administrative procedures.

Provincial leaders, including Vice Chairman Doan Thanh Son, Party Secretary Hoang Quoc Khanh and Chairman Nguyen Cảnh Toàn, highlighted that the model integrates administrative, legal and financial services in a single location. They said the new process shortens typical transaction times from 10‑15 minutes to 3‑5 minutes, reduces manual paperwork, cuts travel costs for citizens and eases the workload of one‑stop‑service staff. The pilot is funded through a socialisation arrangement with Agribank, whose Board Chairman Tô Huy Vũ said the model will be evaluated before any wider rollout.
