Lang Son Province digital services rollout

In late July 2026, Lang Son province completed a province‑wide digitisation of public‑administrative files, enabling residents to use smartphones for electronic identity verification, application submission, and tracking via a public‑services portal. The initiative, led by provincial officials, introduced AI‑enabled kiosks and community‑level tech teams to teach citizens how to use the national VNeID system, cash‑less payments and other online platforms, achieving 100 % electronic processing of dossiers.

Two days later, the provincial government and state bank Agribank inaugurated a pilot of AI‑powered digital public service stations in ten communes and wards. These stations combine administrative, legal, and financial services through smart recognition and electronic authentication, cutting typical transaction times from 10‑15 minutes to 3‑5 minutes and further reducing travel costs for citizens. The pilot, funded through a partnership with Agribank, will be evaluated before any broader rollout.
