Pepe López leads early stages of Lanzarote Rally

Pepe López and co-driver David Vázquez hold a slim lead in the Rally de Tierra Isla de los Volcanes in Lanzarote during the Supercampeonato de España de Rally. After the morning sessions, López maintains a 12.4-second advantage over Diego Ruiloba and Ángel Vela.

Yeray Lemes and Aitor Cambeiro sit in second place, trailing the leaders by approximately 2.6 to 2.9 seconds. Ruiloba, driving a Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale, managed to close the gap significantly following initial power issues.

Other notable competitors include Sergi Pérez and Axel Coronado, who recovered from electrical problems to sit in the top five, and Juan Carlos Quintana, who dropped to eighth following punctures. The competition remains tight heading into the final decisive stages.
